Submitted by Sandra…Last Saturday we had our first Interhigh Monthly of the year! It was a great time of sports and BBQ, with students from our own Element group as well as many students from the respective Interhigh churches we have been visiting. The fun games of water balloon toss, relay races, and free play created for a warm and safe atmosphere where many students were able to get to know one another.
The next day I went on my first visit to the Interhigh Church I will help out with and got to know the students there. They were very open to getting to know me, and we had a fun time of playing Telephone Charades as well as go through a Bible Study using the “Faith thru Film” series. My heart really went out to each person, as I realized again how much I have received so much through this community of faith and I want to commit to use all I have learned to be a blessing, even in a small way, to this church
I was personally so thankful for the opportunity to serve these students, and have a time to see many of the students from churches we have been praying for. I look forward to seeing how God will work throughout all the churches this year!
