I had so much fun at Gracepoint Fellowship’s first Mom’s Getaway a few weeks ago, when over 40 mothers and mothers to be gathered at our Sierra Lodge to have a time to de-stress and just simply enjoy one another’s company. It was so easy to cook because everyone knew what they were doing in the kitchen. We gave each other facials, did our daily devotions, went on a hike, had delicious meals together and even had an impromptu Q & A session where the older moms shared stories and wisdom on child-rearing. It was so fun because of the years of history and friendship we’ve shared but also because of the special fellowship and camaraderie that comes with being moms and spiritual moms to others. I hope this becomes one of our cherished annual traditions!

I echo that sentiment… it was a really wonderful time of being together.
I love the fact that in this community, we can do life like this together, learn from each other, support one another. It really drives home the point for me that I’m never far from others who will help me along the journeys of life.
It was fun getting together with bunch of moms with no worries about cooking, laundry, shopping, etc. Even though it was for only about 30 hours, it was great and I felt very refreshed!
Wow, I am so sad I missed out. Congratulations to the moms-to-be!
That was so wonderful and strenghtening…
It’s a well-deserved break for all of the hard-working mothers but it would be nice for the fathers to have something like it as well.
i had a great and relaxing time! can’t wait until next time!
This getaway was one I will never forget! I felt undeserved to be there since Im a to-be mom… and I was the youngest. But being surrounded by so many older sisters who have gone before me, all my fears about parenthood were gone. Thank you!
